DAY 1 AIRPORT / COLOMBO (80km)
  Hot and Cold TourArrive at Bandaranaike International Airport and met by triptosrilanka Representatives with traditional Sri Lankan hospitality and transfer to a hotel in Colombo. Evening leave for City Tour of Colombo. CITY TOUR OF COLOMBO AND SHOPPING. The City Tour will include places of Tourist interest such as old Parliament, New Parliament, Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall, Buddhist / Hindu Temples, Muslim Mosques, Pettah Market, Fort Area, Town Hall, Vihara Maha Devi Park and Residential Areas. Dinner and Overnight stay at a Hotel in Colombo.
DAY 2 COLOMBO / PINNAWALA / KANDY (130km)
  Hot and Cold TourAfter breakfast, leave for Kandy via Pinnawela. En route visits Elephant Orphanage Pinnawala. ELEPHANT ORPHANAGE Pinnawala, Visit the Elephant Orphanage, the foster – home of elephants of different age and size feeding, bathing, playing together and even mating. These have been found injured or left abandoned in the wilderness. There are even little baby calves born in captivity. Next visit spices Garden in Mavanella. SPICES GARDEN Where spices and herbs used for Sri Lankan cuisine and medication are grown. Spices of Sri Lanka attracted the early sea faring merchants who made the long voyages to purchase this precious merchandise Check in Hotel in Kandy. P.m. Visit art and craft centre and Gem Bureau where you will be shown a documentary film on how Sri Lankan Gem mining is traditionally done Enjoy a typical Sri Lankan Cultural Show of Drumming Dancing music and fire walking. TEMPLE OF THE TOOTH OF RELIC OF BUDDHA Visit the Temple of the sacred tooth relic of the Buddha. This temple, the most important one for The Sri Lankan Buddhists was built in the 16th Century A.D. solely for the purpose of housing the tooth relic. Observe the magnificent Architecture of that period and experience the tranquility of the atmosphere. CITY TOUR OF KANDY Sight seeing of kandy including Upper Lake Drive and visit to Art and Craft Centres. Dinner and Overnight stay at Hotel in Kandy.
DAY 3 KANDY / PERADENIYA / TRAIN JOURNEY TO NUWARA ELIYA (95km)
  Hot and Cold TourBreakfast at Hotel. After breakfast leave for Nuwara Eliya excursion by train. En route BOTANICAL GARDEN En-route visit the Botanical Garden Peradeniya. Which was a pleasure garden of a Kandyan King of the 16th Century and later made in to a Botanical Garden during the British regime. This gardens, one of the best in Asia is a place of beauty and site for bird watchers. Train journey The journey by train to Nanu Oya is a beautiful experience. The diesel locomotive will take you on winding tracks emerging through tunnels unfolding beautiful scenery of cascading waterfalls and tea plantations that appear as green carpets. Guide will meet you at the “Nanu Oya” Station. Proceed to Nuwara Eliya. NUWARA ELIYA The Hill country of Sri Lanka is a sight to behold. After the heat of the low lands of Sri Lanka, the diversity of temperature and scenery of the high lands is incredible. Kandy, Nuwara Eliya and Bandarawela, are three popular hill stations of Sri Lanka. Nuwara Eliya being the highest, situated over 6000 feet above sea level is also called “Little England”. As this is where the British built themselves a home away from home. The winding road that leads to the hill country through tea plantations that carpet the hills to extents beyond sight, the water falls that meander cascading down the hills, the misty valleys and scenery are certainly awe inspiring. TEA FACTORY Visit a Tea Plantation and a Tea Factory en route. Sri Lanka being famous for its “Ceylon Tea” has added cheers to many the world over for more than a century. Arrive in Nuwara Eliya to be greeted by the fresh wintry atmosphere, the cottage type bungalows and the colonial air. (Nuwara Eliya is also known as “Little England”) NUWARA ELIYA CITY TOUR Drive through the little town of Nuwara Eliya observing the well-maintained buildings of colonial Architecture. Visit the busy market where the tea plantation workers rush in and out with their days provisions. Visit the lake Gregory built for generating power during the British Colonial age but now a feature that adds beauty to the city. Dinner and Overnight stay at a Hotel in Nuwara Eliya.
DAY 4 NUWARA ELIYA / KITHULGALA / BENTOTA (280km)
  Hot and Cold TourAfter breakfast, leave for South Coast Beach Resort via Kithugala. KITULGALA Kitulgala is little village on one of the routes between Colombo and Nuwara Eliya. The name Kitulgala derived from the word KITUL (fish tail palm) trees that grow in abundance in these parts. The Kelani River that flows through Kitulgala does not only beautifully the village but also attracts tourists for the white water rafting that has become so popular in it. The most important scene of blasting the bridge and train in the famous film “ The Bridge on the River Kvai” was also filmed at Kitulgala and the film site is also a site visited by many tourists. Bandara Kele a patch of nature reserve that has become very popular with bird watchers and Nature lovers. View the beauty of two water falls “ St. Clair and Devon” Refresh your self at St. Clair’s Tea Centre enjoying the panoramic view and watching the Devon Fall flow gracefully.Fall. Arrive at the Beach resort and check in for Overnight Stay.
DAY 5 EXCURSION TO GALLE (125km)
  Hot and Cold TourAfter lunch, leave for Excursion to Galle. En route Visit the Turtle Hatchery. TURTLE HATCHERY Projects have been launched to conserve the population of turtles that are reaching extinction and such projects are found along the southern coast of Sri Lanka where turtles come as hop to lay their eggs. The turtle digs a hole on the Beach, Lais hers eggs and covers it with sand where it is suppose, incubate by the heat of the sun. What often happens is the eggs are dug out by fisherman and sold to people who consume them. But now the eggs are bought up by the conservation projects and hatched the Natural way in enclosed areas and the Birds don’t have a chance of picking them up. This offers them a better chance of survival. Next River Safari in Madhu Ganga BOAT SAFARI The Boat Safari on the River Madhu is something that words would not justify. The primitive Life Style of the inhabitant of the islands of the Madhu River is only a boat ride away. The boat ride that takes you through the thick mangroves, The bird life around, the primitive style of Fishing and prawn trapping still practiced by the inhabitants of the islands will reveal to you another facet of splendid Sri Lanka GALLE DUTCH FORTRESS An ancient city which is now a modern and buzzing town today. It was the most important sea port way back in history, where the sea faring merchants arrived to trade and barter. This is also where the Portuguese first set foot in the year 1505 and built a fortress, Which was later captured and fortified by the Dutch. The fortress is one of the best preserved in the island. A visit to the fortress and to watch the sunset from the rampart is an experience unforgettable. The oldest Protestant church in the country called the ‘Groote Kirk’ built by the Dutch is located inside the Fort. It is situated close to New Oriental Hotel also built by them as the Governor’s Residence in 1684. Dinner and Overnight stay at the same Beach Resort.
DAY 6 BEACH STAY (0km)
  Hot and Cold TourBeach stay at leisure and water sports such as Boating Diving, Sea Bathing, Wind Surfing, Scuba Diving, Jet Scooter. If a Visitor wishes to experience any Ayurvedic Herbal Care for nature’s treatment, a Hotel is selective. Overnight stay at the same Beach Resort.
