DAY 1 COLOMBO / AIRPORT (80km)   Arrive at Bandaranaike International Airport and met by "triptosrilanka" Representatives and transfer to a hotel in Colombo. Evening leave for City Tour of Colombo. CITY & SHOPPING The City Tour will include places of Tourist interest such as Old parliament, Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall, Independence Square, Buddhist Hindu Temple and Town Hall. Shopping at Odel, House of Fashion, Bare foot etc. at Colombo Dinner & Overnight stay at Hilton Hotel - Colombo.

DAY 2 COLOMBO / PINNAWALA / KANDY (140km)   After breakfast, leave for Kandy. En route visit Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage. ELEPHANT ORPHANGE The foster – home of elephants of different age and size feed, bathe, play together and even mate. These great animals have been found injured or left abandoned in the wilderness. Now they even breed in captivity. Next SPICE GARDEN Visit a spice garden at Mavanella, where spices used for Sri Lankan cuisine and medication are grown. p.m. at leisure Dinner and Overnight stay at Earls Regency Hotel – Kandy.

DAY 3 KANDY / CITY TOUR (45km)   A.m. at leisure p.m. visit Temple. TEMPLE OF THE TOOTH OF RELIC Visit the Temple of the sacred tooth relic of the Buddha. This temple, the most important one for The Sri Lankan Buddhists was built in the 16th Century A.D. solely for the purpose of housing the tooth relic. Observe the magnificent Architecture of that period and experience the tranquility of the atmosphere. Visit art and craft center and Gem Bureau where you will be shown a documentary film on how Sri Lankan Gem mining is traditionally done. Sight seeing of kandy including CultuUpper Lake Drive and visit to Art and Craft Centres.

DAY 4 KANDY / PERADENIYA / TRAIN JOURNEY / N'ELIYA (95km)   After Breakfast leave for Nuwara Eliya. BOTANICAL GARDEN En-route visit the Botanical Garden Peradeniya. Which was a pleasure garden of a Kandyan King of the 16th Century and later made in to a Botanical Garden during the British regime. This gardens; one of the best in Asia is a place of beauty and site for bird watchers. Leave for Nuwara Eliya by train. You will met by the chauffer guide at “Nanu Oya” Station and transferred to the Hotel at Nuwara Eliya to continue with tour. NUWARA ELIYA Nuwara Eliya also known as Little England is where the homesick British ( The Tea Planters) built themselves a home away from home. A touch of old England could be experienced by taking a drive through the city. Dinner & Overnight stay at Grand Hotel - Nuwara Eliya .

DAY 5 NUWARA ELIYA / HORTON PLAINS (WORLDS END) (80km)   Breakfast at Hotel. Leave for Nuwara Eliya. HORTON PLAINS (OPTIONAL) Located in the highest plateau of Sri Lanka at an elevation of 7,000 feet above sea level. Usually the plains are visible before 10 a.m. as otherwise the mist covers the view. The highlight of the Plains is the terrific escarpment which drops vertically for about 1,000 feet. On a very clear day, one could view the east horizon too. Rare species of fauna and flora are found here. This Plains was once the hunting ground for the British Governor Mr. Farr. Today the home of Mr. Farr has been turned into a Rest House and is called “Farr Inn”. Dinner & Overnight stay at Grand Hotel - Nuwara Eliya

DAY 6 NUWARA ELIYA / ELLA / YALA (200km)   Breakfast at Hotel. Leave for Yala. En route stop at Ella Grand Motel to enjoy the view of the famous ella gap, Also view the beauty of the Ravana Falls as you descend to the low lands. Next visit Buduruwagala. p.m. Safari in National Park YALA NATIONAL PARK visit Ruhunu National Park at Yala. This will include a Safari tour by jeep with a jungle tracker, where you can see animals in the Jungle; including elephants, Bears, Wild boar, Dear, Buffalo, Monkeys and many other animals if you are lucky, leopards too. You also could see different types of birds. It’s a small experience for bird watch lovers. Dinner & Overnight stay at Hotel in Yala Village.

DAY 7 YALA / GALLE / BENTOTA (220km)   Breakfast at Hotel. Leave for Bentota. En route Visit Dutch Fortress. CITY OF GALLE Galle is one of the ancient sea ports of Sri Lanka and was an anchor point in the Silk Route. It was later discovered by the Portuguese where they built a fortress and the Dutch that succeeded them fortified it further. This fortress is today a World Heritage Site. Next River Safari in Madhu Ganga –( Optional ) BOAT SAFARI The Boat Safari on the River Madhu is something that words would not justify. The primitive Life Style of the inhabitant of the islands of the Madhu River is only a boat ride away. The boat ride that takes you through the thick mangroves, The bird life around, the primitive style of Fishing and prawn trapping still practiced by the inhabitants of the islands will reveal to you another facet of splendid Sri Lanka. Next visit Turtle Hatchery. TURTLE HATCHERY Projects have been launched to conserve the population of turtles that are reaching extinction and such projects are found along the southern coast of Sri Lanka where turtles come ashore to lay their eggs. The turtle digs a hole on the Beach, Lays hers eggs and covers it with sand where it is supposed to, incubate by the heat of the sun. What often happens is, the eggs are dug out by fisherman and sold to people who consume them. But now the eggs are bought up by the conservation projects and are hatched the Natural way in enclosed areas where the Birds don’t have a chance of picking them up and the babies are let in to the sea after two days at night time which offers them a better chance of survival. DAY 8 BENTOTA - LEISURE (0km)   BEACH STAY p.m At leisure – Beach Stay with many choices of spending your time. Leisurely strolling on the Golden Beaches enthralled in the magical atmosphere. Lazing on a Sun deck reading a book of you choice, and sipping a cool fresh tropical fruit drink of pineapple, Mango, Banana. Water skiing, Wind Surfing, Snorkeling or cutting through the choppy on a jet water scooter and much more….

DAY 9 BENTOTA / NEGOMBO (125km)   Breakfast at Hotel. a.m. at leisure Afternoon leave for Negombo. NEGOMBO The fishing village of Negombo has turned out to be a very popular Tourist Beach Resort, for its Golden Sun kissed Beach that’s fringed with Palm Groves. The amazing fact is that the development of the tourist industry has had no influence to change the originality of the quiet fishing village or the Life style of the inhabitants. Dinner and Overnight stay at Blue Oceanic - Hotel – Negombo.

DAY 10 NEGOMBO / AIRPORT (20km)   After Breakfast leave for Airport for Departure (According to your flight times)
